Denver Children’s Advocacy Center

Our Immigrant Family Initiative provides mental wellbeing services specifically to children and families who have had harmful experiences or experienced stress as a result of their immigration situation or that of their family members.

Therapy:

Our team of bilingual trauma-specialized therapists offers therapy at no cost to the family for children undergoing stress due to their immigration status.

Support Groups:

Based on availability and necessity, therapists can offer support groups and processing spaces. These spaces provide an opportunity to share stories, talk through experiences, and receive support and tools from others who have gone through similar situations.

Trainings:

Our therapists can run educational workshops for families, individuals, and community groups centered around well-being, self-care, and the immigration experience. Please contact us for more information.

Resource Referrals:

Our team helps families get connected to other resources they are looking for. Resources can include immigration lawyers, food banks, health clinics, etc.
