AMA – Aprender Mediante Amistad

AMA is a student organization at Colorado College (Colorado Springs) dedicated to assisting community students whose parents in many cases do not speak English fluently and are unable to help their children with their homework. AMA provides weekly tutoring sessions in English and Spanish, to help students from Middle-School and High-School to improve their speaking, reading, writing, and homework skills. Adding to this, AMA also provides children with fun educational activities, snacks, and transportation accommodation when necessary. We aim to decrease obstacles to access educational resources while trying to help student learn through friendship and various activities.

CU-Anschutz

The Undocumented Student Services at Anschutz Medical Campus is committed to providing academic, social, and mental health support to students who identify as DACA, ASSET, Asylee/Refugee, or Mixed Family status.

Free and Reduced Cost Legal Advice- The Justice Center

The Justice Center provides free legal aid in the Pikes Peak region. We prioritize help for immigrants in Colorado, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. Clients can obtain free legal advice at our clinics or free or reduced cost representation in court. The Justice Center also offers educational resources on family law, housing law, and immigration law.

Free Immigration Defense Clinic- CU Boulder

Professor Chapin and her students at CU Law School defend immigrants in a wide variety of legal matters, including court cases in both state criminal court, federal immigration court and DACA assistance.

Migrant Education Program – NMEP

To provide equitable resources and outcomes to ensure that all migrant children/youth are postsecondary and workforce ready and that all families are empowered to succeed.
